Fiona zeichnet Pictures is a place for learning, exchange, understanding and artistic development. The focus is on learning the fundamentals of drawing so that you can use those acquired skills to realise your own ideas.

In weekly tutored life drawing sessions, participants learn to draw the human figure. The Painting in Procreate course covers topics such as the digital workflow, and in Animation in Procreate I show how to bring drawings to life. I also regularly host special events like Titanic’s Rose, Hendo Life Drawing or Paint Your Pet. If you have a specific topic you’d like to learn or explore in more depth, you can also book individual or group lessons.

ABOUT ME

My name is Fiona Zechmeister, and I’m an artist from beautiful Vienna! I’ve always loved drawing, which is why I decided to pursue an artistic education. I attended the HTBVLA Spengergasse (Department of Art and Textile Design), studied Visual Communication and Publishing with a focus on illustrated media at the University of Derby, and earned a diploma in Animation and VFX from SAE Vienna. I participated in numerous online art courses and expanded my knowledge through many art books. In 2018 I became self-employed, creating illustrations, animations, and designs for various companies. In 2023, I also began offering my own courses under the name Fiona zeichnet Pictures. It love to evoke emotions through my work and to pass on my approach and knowledge to aspiring artists.
